About the Film
Remember the Titans tells the true story of the 1971 T.C. Williams High School football team in Alexandria, Virginia. When the school is integrated and African American coach Herman Boone (Denzel Washington) is appointed head coach over the beloved white coach Bill Yoast, the team must overcome racial tensions to become state champions.
While not about the NFL Tennessee Titans, this film embodies everything we love about being Titans fans - overcoming adversity, building unity, and rising to greatness against all odds. Both teams share the name and the fighting spirit. Titan Up!
