The Bulldogs closed the regular season 2-7 and dropped into the losers bracket of the league tournament after a tough 11-1 opener against #2-seed Sedg-Co. The bracket continues this week — but with the regular-season book closed, here’s what 16 Bulldogs put together across 11 games in the summer of 2026.

Team-leading 6 RBI on just 3 hits — every hit drove someone home. Started all 11 games. Perfect 1.000 fielding (3 chances, 3 outs) and 5 walks of her own. The team’s most efficient run producer.
#3 — Kortlyn C.
The ace. Team-high 39 strikeouts in 16 innings — most by a wide margin — across 6 pitching appearances. Also hit .250 with 4 walks and 2 HBP for a .571 OBP, and fielded a perfect 1.000 from the circle. Did it on both sides.
#4 — Amber E.
A workhorse. Played 10 games and made the second-most pitching appearances (7 outings, 10 IP, 23 K). Also one of the busiest fielders on the team (14 chances, 10 putouts). Took 4 HBP on the way to a .526 OBP, scored 5, drove in 4. Whatever the team needed.
#5 — Victoria C.
Got into 4 games and made every one count: a walk and an HBP in 4 PA = a .500 OBP. Gave the dugout depth and a fresh bat when called on.

Behind the plate, Palmer caught every Bulldogs strikeout and got putout credit for each one — that’s how she stacked 81 fielding chances, 81 putouts, 1.000 FPCT, more than any other Bulldog by a country mile. At the plate: team-leading 12 walks and 7 runs scored.

One of the season’s biggest stories. Team-leading 10 runs scored, 12 stolen bases (12-for-13), and the only home run of the season. Best ERA on the pitching staff at 4.500 with 14 K in 6.2 IP. At the plate: .357 / .625 / 1.196 — one of three players over a 1.000 OPS. MVP-caliber summer.
#22 — Tyndle M.
Set the tone everywhere. Team-leading 8 hits, .421 AVG, .943 OPS (most among players with 10+ ABs). Pitched 6 innings and played the team’s busiest infield — 9 chances, 6 assists (most on the team). The total package.

The team’s highest AVG (.444) and OPS (1.421) — both team highs by a wide margin. 4 hits in 9 ABs, including the tournament’s only Bulldog hit (a triple). 4 RBI, 4 walks. Quietly the team’s best pure hitter when she was in the box.
#24 — Maddie B.
Five games, took an HBP, and was ready whenever her number got called. Showed up.
How they helped the team
Every name above is a thread in the story. The walks (74 of them — almost two free passes per inning on average) came from the patient at-bats Oakley, Palmer, Delaney, and Kyla put together. The runs scored came when Phoenix, Palmer, Waylyn, Amber, and Tyndle turned those baserunners into runs. The defense held together behind Palmer’s mitt behind the plate, Tyndle and Kortlyn’s gloves up the middle, and Waylyn and Amber backing them in the outfield. And the pitching — when Kortlyn, Amber, Phoenix, and Tyndle took the circle — kept the Bulldogs in games they had no business being in.
Two wins. A handful of close losses. A first-ever home run. A bracket appearance. A roster that grew up together over six weeks.
