The Bulldogs closed out the regular season Friday at Holyoke, falling 6-3 in the rescheduled May 21 make-up game — despite out-hitting Holyoke 4-2.
Hits: Kortlyn C., #23, Amber E., and Tyndle M. each had one.
Scoring:
- Top 1: Amber E. singled to drive in a run, 1-0 Bulldogs.
- Bottom 2: Holyoke flipped it, scoring five runs on two hits. Their #3 dropped a two-RBI single. 5-1 Holyoke.
Pitching: Tyndle M. took the loss for Haxtun — two innings, five runs on two hits, four strikeouts, seven walks. Holyoke’s #18 earned the win: 3.2 IP, four hits, two runs, seven K, six BB.
Production: RBIs from Amber E. and Tyndle M. — back-to-back in the order. Palmer H. led the team with two walks; the Bulldogs drew six walks as a group. Phoenix B. and #23 each stole multiple bases as part of an eight-stolen-base afternoon.
